Grief, trauma and sadness can all be funny... but only when enough time has passed to allow us the space to process and find the humor in our tragedy. In this unique theatrical experience, join one actor as they examine the equation of Comedy = Tragedy + Time and living with disability.
This one-night-only World Premiere event coincides with National Developmental Disability Month and National Hearing Day. Proceeds go to Summit City Music Theatre and our efforts to continue creating inclusive theatrical works and experiences.
The production will take place at The Local Archive, located at The Landing (directly above Utopian Coffee). This event is a collaboration with The Local Archive and Stories Told By: AR. We urge you to take advantage of the amazing dinner options before and after the show in The Landing.
There will be a post-show talkback with the playwrights hosted by SCMT's board president, Maggie Kole Hunter.
